Websites & web apps for community organizations

Websites your own people can run.

I build websites and tools for fire departments, churches, and the groups that hold a community together. Your officers and volunteers change the words and pictures themselves, from a browser. No developer and no code needed.

Work

Live sites and apps in daily use.

Website

Frog Level Volunteer Fire Department

Station 5's public site, with a members-only area. Officers edit every page from the browser: the burn-season banner, the trucks, the memorial, recruiting and training information, and member documents.

Website

Concord Baptist Church

The church's new home online, with fellowship hall booking, prayer requests, volunteer sign-up sheets, events, and a members area. The church's own editors keep it up to date.

How it works

You edit it yourself

Every page has an editor behind a sign-in. Type the new words, upload the new picture, press Save, and it's live. Nobody needs a GitHub account or a developer on call.

Sign-in by email code

No passwords to forget. Members and editors sign in with a one-time code sent to their email, and you decide who can see the members area and who can edit pages.

Fast and backed up

Sites run on Cloudflare's network, so they load quickly even on rural cell service. Your pages and documents get backed up automatically.

Built for what you do

Hall bookings, burn bans, memorials, member documents, volunteer sign-ups. Each site gets the pieces that organization actually uses, not a generic template.
